I would totally rock that Angel. I'd even rock a splash anodized one. It'd go well with my Lion of Judah tattoo.

Hey TB:

I know one of the lovely young ladies posing with the banner in the photo you posted here. Yes, she does manage to play paintball in skirts and boots, much to the mystification and (I imagine) delight of most of the men sharing the field with her. She's a strong player and a good sport to boot.

It's obvious from reading your other posts that you have no love for Cookie and Viper, and it seems from what you have written that they have given you plenty of reasons for feeling the way you do about them. OK. But in your eagerness to rip Cookie and Viper a new one, you've just drug a couple of innocent bystanders through the mud.

Just my opinion, but you owe those two girls an apology. And if you can't man up to giving them one, perhaps you should be the one playing in the skirt and boots.

Amber,

Let me see if I can put this into words without it coming across in a manner that you find offensive. Although I highly doubt I will succeed.

Those two 'innocents' as you put, just did the exact opposite of what PB Woman is supposed to be about. Now, obviously, you have a personal stake in this as you know one of the people, but that is no reason to be all uppity about what I wrote. Let me quote it for you, shall I?

But then you have women dressed like this holding your banner and for the winner?

Now that was the statement about how Cookie wanted women to be seen in paintball and how in her realm, they had turned women well over the age of 25 who may have indeed seen their best days behind them with life, stress and children on younger women who wanted to look like women and not give up their sexuality in the quest for paintball equal rights as it seems some 'feminist' leanings are pushing this. What was said that was so bad about that? Maybe you mean this;

Can they play in those boots? Or that skirt? I mean sure, one of them wore a kilt but the other one's skirt was pretty short. And they had on paintball jersies, they must be players. So much for legitimizing women in paintball right? You spend all this time telling people not to use sex to sell anything in paintball and looking down on people for doing it and then you turn around and take hundreds of photos of this and put them on the stage in front of 1300+ (ha ha, my ass) players. How many do you think laughed at the site of these women? How many do think thought that they were pathetic?

So you say that she can slide into a bunker wearing knee high stripper boots? Now don't try and sell me on the benefits of stripper boots as I have seen my fair share of them. But take a good honest look at the bullshit that has been leveled in PB Woman and elsewhere as well as the myraid of private discussion Pam has had with people about me (trust me I got the damn emails) where I am labeled sexist, chauvanistic, neanderthal and more. But I am none of those things, I simply am the guy saying you don't get to scream treat me like one of the guys and then show up acting like a girly girl and expect me to fall down and say oh how cute. I am going to call bullshit when I see it and the fact that after all the shit Pam spewed, she allowed two women to stand on stage dressed like that goes against the 5 months of BS she spouted against me and anyone else who took her and the site to task on everywhere from PB Nation to well, here. As for the answer to my question on how many thought it was pathetic, not nearly as many as who thought it was hot! But then again, I thought they were fighting to good fight against that and wanted to be taken as serious paintball players.

As for owing those two women apologies, that ain't going to happen. Whether they allowed themselves to be used, volunteered for it or were simply duped is not my call. I simply pointed out the obvious, if you don't want to see the naked emperor then I suggest you listen to the guy screaming but the damn emperor is freaking naked.

As for me wearing a skirt and boots to play this game, not going to happen. And the paintball whoa-man project being run by cookie is about as dis-respectful to women as showing up at a chitlin eating contest in black-face. But that is the subject of another blog, so we will leave it at that.

As for who you are, really? Webmistress (I assume since you seem to be offended by male stamps) of Mad Ivan's site? You might want to talk with him about the people who pulled these two poor women's strings and how to fix that rather than coming after me for pointing it out.

Just for the record, I have offered my apologies to TB for my caustic response to TB's initial post. Though I still believe that his comments about the two girls in the photos were both unjustified and unkind, I shouldn't have been so ugly to him in my response to his post.

Otherwise, happy blogging, TB! I personally enjoy keeping up with your blog and look forward to future posts.
