Iran? Really BPG? Really?
By TB on Nov 16, 2010 | In TB's Soapbox
So what the hell is TB talking about today? Well as Indy stated, I went over to read 68 caliber and oh my fucking god, for real? That is what passes as "news' these days in paintball? You know I got spoiled reading The Ford Report as well anytime he goes outside of paintball it is usually related to titties or food or partying, not some liberalistic agenda. Now, some conservatives, might be screaming "mmm IRAN BAAAAADDD!" but paintball and Iran? Give me a fucking break, Butt Plug Gnome (BPG, get it?). I mean there there is a whole lot of shit that as a paintball player I could give a fuck less about. And people accuse me of inventing shit or just being negative to get traffic.
Do we care about every damn 14 year old with a paintball gun getting busted for shooting someone while riding his bike? I read alot of Xtreme sports websites, and I never see a post about someone using a skateboard in commision of a crime making the headlines of an Xtreme Sports Page. Or someone using MMA gloves while in a street brawl causing an international stir. Yet the douchebag known as the BPG thinks that it will. Specifically, he compares selling paintball gear to supporting the denial of the extermination of the Jews and assisting in helping a state sponsor of terrorism acquire nuclear weapons. Now I don't know what scenario game BPG has been playing because Greg Hastings Paintball 2 doesn't have that scenario built in, and you know BPG has Greg's balls firmly buried in his mouth, so where he gets this I don't know. But I know, what you are saying, start from the beginning TB or give us links right?
Well you can take your own self over there, I ain't linking shit. But I will post a few lines to get the dialogue going for sure. But let's get started shall we?
And I quote ;
"Why this gong banging? Seriously, because it is a good bet that anyone involved with paintball in Iran on a high level is associated with the regime, the regime is trying to obtain nuclear weapons and any dollars obtained by the regime supports – state terrorism, a quest for nuclear weapons, torture, international destabilization and a whole heck of a lot of other bad stuff.
And what it boils down to is this: if you are supplying product to the Iranian economy, you are indirectly supporting the development of nuclear weapons that could very well be used against the US and/or US allies. Do you really want to be personally responsible for funding a nuclear war in the Mid-East? Even if you could care less about that region of the world, we have friends, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters serving over there."
Yep you read that right, he is equating anyone to selling or allowing to be sold any paintball material to Iran or people who support or sell things to Iran. Now I don't know about you, but I think the last thing that people at KEE or Tippmann seem to worry about these days is the export compliance of materials from the US to the country of Iran. Now I am sure that the crackpot known as the BPG is all concerned, but really? Selling some paintballs is the same as selling spent nuclear rods? Or military grade weapons and night vision? Where is the outcry for selling paintball guns to North Korea or Libya? Wait a tick, we sell paintball guns to Norther Ireland, damn them IRA types, running around buying up paintball guns. Personally responsible? He really needs to get the fuck out of here with this nonsense, I mean who the hell gave him this soap box to stand on to begin with? Oh that's right, he stole it. That's a whole lot more despicable then someone in Iran popping up with logos on their jersey or shooting a Planet E marker right? Then again most of these companies have distribution centers in other countries, that are owned by individuals of those countries that aren't responsible to the US Embargo or State Department warning you are crowing about Mr. Gnome. But that is another story, let's look at this, shall we?
"What’s the value of the sale of a few guns or skids of paint when compared to the real threat of a nuclear-armed Iran? How comfortable would you be if you knew that something you made or sold, directly or indirectly, contributed to a nuclear holocaust in the Middle East?
What about the Iranian paintballers? Well, what about them? We really don’t know who they are, what their affiliations are, what they do when they aren’t playing. Could they be the same guys who were shooting protesters with paintball guns (so they could be arrested and tortured later) following the recent so-called elections?"
What's the value? This is the one of the 'old guys in the industry' who tries to turn a buck every chance he gets. I mean he wrote a book called the Parents Guide to Paintball yet if parent's knew the stuff I know about him and saw his Butt Plug Collection, they would swear their kids off paintball as the kooky old guy who wants to teach your little johnny how to play with his gun. How in the hell, does an Angel or SP-1 help Iran create a freaking Nuclear Weapon? Really? So they used some paintball guns to shoot pepperballs at some protesters, the US does the same damn thing. Now I am not a huge supporter of Iran, and I do not want to see them nuclear armed, but this is freaking crazy. Does he really think that people in paintball are supporting or selling items knowingly to Iran because some people sport some logos?
Obviously Steve, you have some inside information, so rather then speak in riddles why not exercise your damn 'journalistic integrity' that you claim to have and out some names. I mean you have written what 6 articles on this shit? I mean you fucking quote the State Department Memorandum verbatim and then run through it so that you think your readers will read it. Dude, at least when I post a book there is some interesting shit in it. Nothing in any of these articles were interesting. Well except the fact that you think that you are Jew and should be angry, but fuck, aren't you adopted? Have you had a DNA test to determine if you are even jewish? I mean, I know my wife is, but that another story.
And we are going to tie off with this for now:
The US government, Customs and the State Department are taking the enforcement of these sanctions VERY SERIOUSLY. There are huge fines associated with violating them. There is JAIL TIME associated with violating them. So word to the wise: a few dollars extra shipping is not worth 5 or ten years in jail and the loss of your company.
To put an even finer point on it: DO NOT SHIP INTERDICTED PRODUCT OUT OF THE COUNTRY WITHOUT BEING ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT IT IS GOING TO A LEGAL DESTINATION, IS LEGAL TO SHIP OVER THE BORDER. IF YOU ARE SHIPPING TO AN OVERSEAS DISTRIBUTOR OR RE-SELLER, MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW FOR SURE THAT THEY WILL NOT BE SELLING TO IRAN.
(You could get caught and you WILL get caught once this article is published. Stuff like this tends to make the government take a closer look, so wink wink and nod nod – DON’T DO IT!)
Wow, and people think I am full of myself. Stuff like your earth shattering news break of some video or people playing paintball in Iran? Dude, you realize that the Ironmen went to the Middle East and barely beat the Iranian team right? Sounds to me like some people got some time to practice in over there. But we will talk more about that in another article. But I do love the fact that you think you know better than a ton of people in how to not only run their business, play their games but also how they should think and act. And people think I am bossy! You are the biggest crook out there, sir and well being the scallywag that you are, I am not surprised by any of this or your statements. In fact, the only thing I am surprised is that I read them all and decided to comment on them, since this is probably the most anyone is ever going to see it or care that YOU wrote it.
How's that for being full of myself?
