indyIf I went through my friends list, deleting people I had political disagreements with, there would be less than 5 people left.

The lack of emotional maturity is unfortunately unsurprising.

I find it humorous that someone who has been deemed "irrelevant" by the talking heads of paintball, someone who was banned from the land of Milk and Cookie and left to fade into footnotes of paintball history, can cause such an uproar among the 10 to 30 people (obviously cretins themselves) that actually still read this blog.

That is unless, as the man has stated, there are more people that read this than care to admit and then run back and stir the shit-pot amongst those who would prefer that the rock they tried to drop on TB and Thunderstruck would stay put.

I went and perused the RPA website and couldn't help but think that the best thing that could actually happen for this sport is if the PRODUCERS actually read, agreed to, and stuck to their warm and fuzzy pledge on the front page.

The problem is that producers are primarily businessmen (and women) and are in this sport, like all business men (and women), to make money, and baby when there's money involved then shit goes south quickly.

I've seen players talk trash, and start blog fights and forum wars and all sorts of anonymous bullshit that usually disappears when people come face to face and start slinging paint.
But I've seen producers pretty much piss on each one of your warm and fuzzy ideals in an attempt to further their own agenda in the BUSINESS of paintball.

And you people can't take the bloggings of, what you describe as, one "irrelevant" individual?
One of the problems with warm and fuzzy paintball is that too many people wear their feelings on their sleeves. They spend too much time worrying about what people think about them instead of playing the game.

Which brings us back to the blog at hand. If these people are so secure and have such solidarity in this movement (which I don't necessarily disagree with, and even if i did...i wouldn't deny them the right to have their opinions), then why are you so concerned with one opinion?

"GG, You were awesome yet again. You and the Soldiers are always respectful and awesome to shoot at, hang out with and be around. I hope whoever tb is will realize negativity and bad mouthing will not be tolerated. Way to go Jeb. Well said sir."

Negativity and bad mouthing will not be tolerated? Its my divine right to be negative if I so damn well please sir.

Not tolerated? I dare say you will tolerate it. That's the entire principle that this country is founded on, the tolerance of another person's opinion regardless of your opinion on the matter.

I'm not here to debate the validity of TB's post. I don't have the years in the political machine that is the sport of paintball to draw a perspective on this subject, although I didn't really see anything in his post that defamed the individual in question. I will, however, defend his right to express this opinion in public, just as I will defend the right to disagree with it.
